TRAVEL

Please bring any remaining balance and your completed health form with insurance information (unless you have confirmed you completed it online).

Buses will depart from and return to the Young Life Office at 23 E. Tennessee Avenue in Oak Ridge.

Departing Friday, November 1 at 4:00 P.M.
There will be a late bus for uniformed participants (football players, cheer, band, dance) from the football games.

Returning Sunday, November 3 at 4:30 P.M.

ELECTRONICS AT CAMP

All camper electronics will be collected upon arrival, according to Young Life Camping’s policy on electronics. Campers may keep watches (except for smartwatches), alarm clocks, and cameras. Camp staff will collect and store them in a safe location. Cell service is not available at camp.

Campers are not permitted to have their cell phones. If you need to reach your child in an emergency, please contact the trip leader or call the camp directly.

ADULT GUESTS + WORK CREW

Weekend camp isn't just for high school kids! To sign up for an adult guest room or to serve on work crew, please contact Bill Reazer at billreazer@gmail.com.

HEALTH FORM

After registration, please check your email for the online health form. ​ Your confirmation email will have an option to complete and print a PDF version.

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP:

Students may bring one suitcase and one small carry-on for the bus ride. Camp provides bed linens. Check the weather for Weaverville, NC the weekend of camp!

Packing List:
  • One pair of comfortable gym shoes (must be closed toe) for certain activities.
  • Rain jacket & sweatshirt
  • Comfortable shorts and t-shirts plus one pair of long pants
  • Pajamas
  • Swimsuit and beach towel
  • Toiletries including washcloth
  • Plastic bags for dirty clothes/shoes
  • Allergy medicine or any medications you will need during the weekend
  • Camera (NOT YOUR PHONE)
  • Spending money for snacks on the way to camp and any souvenirs from the camp store or snack bar.
